Robert Hix

Robert Blane Hix, 41, went home to join the Lord on June 14, 2021 after a sudden illness.  He was born on October 25, 1979, to Keith and Sherry Hix.  Robert grew up in Merriam, KS and attended South Park Elementary School and Shawnee Mission North High School.  Robert married the love of his life, Megan, in June, 2007.  They have two beautiful daughters.  He loved life, made friends wherever he went, had a very generous soul and if there was anything you needed and he could do it for you, he would because caring for family and friends was important to him.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.    Robert enjoyed the Kansas City sports teams, especially the Kansas City Royals & their 2015 World Series win and the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl LIV win.  Robert is survived by his wife, Megan; daughters, Kaelea & Madylen; his mother and father, Sherry & Keith; sister, Amanda (Rod); niece, Suri; nephews, Aden & Jack and many extended family members and friends.  Donations may be made in Robert’s name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or your favorite charity.
