Robert D. Ramsey, 76, Merriam, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side Friday, April 25th.
Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, May 1st at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park. Inurnment in Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Indoor Courtyard of Memories. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas City Ballet, 1616 Broadway Street Kansas City, MO 64108.
Robert was born in Osawatomie, KS in his home. He graduated from Baker University. He married Mary Alice Storms in July, 1954. They later divorced. He loved the arts, to travel, and is remembered as a kind and witty man.
Robert is survived by 4 children; Carol (Dan) Mills, David (Tammy) Ramsey, Jeffrey (Lori Ann) Ramsey, Michael (Dawn) Ramsey; six grandchildren, Brian and Brett Mills, Andrew, Josh, Alyson, and Katie Ramsey.
