Ronald “Ron” Manna, 73, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014.
He was born on July 7, 1941 to Valentino and Irene Manna in Corapolis, PN. He grew up and attended schools in Corapolis, graduating from Moontown High School. After high school he continued his education at Youngstown College in Youngstown, OH, where he received his bachelors in Business.
On September 4, 1965 he married Barbara Unangst. They made their home in (where they lived after marriage).
In 1965 Ron was drafted into the United States Army and served his country until he was honorably discharged in 1968.
Ron was very active in his children activities; he coached Mark’s baseball team and Mike’s football team.
Ron loved to golf. He also loved watching football, especially the Steelers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
He was a member of Church of the Resurrection. Ron was a Scout Master for Troop 257 of Entombment Church for many years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Manna, his father Valentino Manna.
He is survived by three sons, Mark Manna and his wife Priti, Michael Manna and his wife Jennifer and David Manna and his wife Dawn; Five grandchildren Jacob, Ellie, Paul, Anthony and Andrew.
Celebration of Ron’s Life will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, Kansas.
