Ron and Mary lived in Overland Park all their married life and were members of Meyer Boulevard United Methodist church until 1977 when they moved to the Stanley community and became charter members of the Presbyterian Church of Stanley, now Village on Antioch. Ron was active in the Session and many other roles in the church, helping to call the first pastor and launch construction of the first church building.
