Ronald Dale Wainscott, 91, who was born in Ballard (Bates County), Missouri, left us peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on August 6, 2025.
He enjoyed his farm life and good old Country music. He was known for his strong work ethic, which was passed on to his children, and also gave insight and training of his experience as an electrician to his work family.
Dale was preceded in passing by cherished loved ones, including his parents, Raymond Leslie Wainscott and Cordia B. King (Corda Bruner); Otto King, stepfather; Raymond Max Wainscott, brother; Marjorie Harbert, sister; and Bonne Boyle, sister.
He is survived by Joyce White, sister; Eula Wainscott, sister-in-law; Judy Saunders (Dwight), daughter and son-in-law; Cindy Kuhn (Vern), daughter and son-in-law; Dorothy Joan Luttrell, mother of Judy and Cindy; Terri Hughes, daughter; Lisa Wainscott, daughter; Max Wainscott, son; Jeffrey Wainscott (Tamara), son and daughter-in-law; Micki (Michaelene) Criqui, mother of Terri, Lisa, Max and Jeff; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Johnson County Funeral Chapel and Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, Kansas. The funeral service will be Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the same location.
Dale will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to either Spring Hill Care and Rehabilitation Center (Spring Hill, KS) or Faith Hospice (Overland Park, KS) in memory of Dale Wainscott.
