Samuel Appleton Maze, Jr.

Samuel Appleton Maze Jr. of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away September 16th, 2021.

Sam was born July 31st, 1929 in Birmingham, Alabama. He joined the military in 1947 serving 20 years before retiring as Master Sergeant. He continued his education by pursuing a teaching degree. Sam taught Business Education classes starting in Tampa, FL and retiring from the Center School District in Kansas City, Missouri.

July 4th, 1975 Sam was joined in marriage to Barbara Berry, who survives at the home. Sam also leaves behind a large extended family who loved him dearly.

Sam was an avid reader, historian, world traveler and a gentle soul. He will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him.
