It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Shan Hui Lin, who passed away on July 4, 2026, in Overland Park, Kansas. She was born on November 1, 1969, in Taiwan. Shan Hui Lin is survived by her beloved spouse, Chaoyong Jiang; her son, Kevin H. Jiang; and her parents, Sung Ping Lin and Chui Ling Lin.
She is also lovingly remembered by her family: Ying Cheng Lin (Brother), Alicia Lin (Niece), Ethan Lin (Nephew), Yun-an Lin (Brother), Shu-ling Lin (Sister-in-law), Li-Shin Lin (Niece), Wei-Jian Lin (Nephew), Brian Choi (Future nephew-in-law), Sen Hui Lin (Sister-in-law), Ching H (Sister), Ying-yi, Lin and Min- ju, Lin.
Shan attended Art College and had a lifelong love for reading. She was kind, honest, upright, strong, diligent, and always frugal. She was eager to help others and loved her family deeply. She possessed a strong sense of responsibility and a spirit of self-sacrifice. Intelligent and full of wisdom, she touched the lives of many through her quiet strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Throughout her life, Shan lived in Taiwan, Kansas City, and Overland Park, Kansas. She built a life centered on family, hard work, and caring for others. Her favorite quote was, “Love Never Fails.” These words reflected the way she lived her life and the love she shared with everyone around her.
Family and friends are invited to join us for the funeral service at Johnson County Funeral Chapel and Memorial Gardens. Funeral service information is listed below. Together, we will celebrate and honor Shan Hui Lin’s life, cherish her memory, and give thanks for the love and legacy she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
