William “Bob” R. Kimbrell Jr passed away in his home on February 5th, 2023 in Olathe KS. He was born October 4th, 1945 to Kathryn Maguire and William R Kimbrell Sr in Kansas City MO. He grew up Kansas City, MO along side his brothers and sister. After graduating high school, Bob had 2 boys that were born. William R. Kimbrell III and Brian T. Kimbrell. Few year later, Bob landed himself a job as the editor for Calvins Communications where he edited the distribution of Rooster Cogburn, Roots, The Moon Landing and The Original Little Rascals and many more. He then moved on to own his own Lawncare company called Kimbrell and Son’s. Alongside his many achievements, he also met the love of his life Sara Kimbrell in 1980. They were inseparable ever since they met. Bob is following to heaven his wife Sara Kimbrell, His parents Kathryn L. Kimbrell and William R. Kimbrell Sr, his two brothers David Kimbrell and Kevin Kimbrell. He is survived by his 2 sons William “Bobby” R, Kimbrell III (Overland Park, KS) and Brian T Kimbrell (Peculiar, MO). Bob has 6 grandchildren: Kayla Thomas, Breeann Claibourn, Abigail Hill, Gage Kimbrell, Jace Kimbrell, Chloe Kimbrell. Bob also has 4 Great grandchildren; Remington Claibourn, Mark Claibourn III, Avery Hill, Reyna Thomas. Bob hosted many parties through his years living in Olathe bringing friends near and far. Every Sunday he would be watching his Chiefs play or on the weekends host pool parties for his grandkids. He was the best host to many people. He loved being around people and helping others out in time of need. He was a devoted father and grandfather, who created a nickname for everyone. If you were lucky enough to hear his “Chicaw” or his favorite “Dude-ette, Dude-ess” nicknames then he really liked you! Here goes to one last hoorah “CHICAW”!
