Stephanie Anjanette Hall

September 10, 1970 — February 17, 2022

Stephanie Anjanette Hall (51) of Kansas City, Missouri passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on February 17, 2022 at Menorah Medical Center.

Steph was born September 10, 1970 in Columbus, Mississippi and was diagnosed at a young age with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, a severe neurological disorder. She attended the Susie JC preschool founded on her behalf by the Raytown Jaycees. After preschool she attended the Lakeview Woods State School where she graduated in 1992. She was a resident of TNC Community for more than forty years, most recently at the Jefferson group home in South Kansas City with five other special friends.

Despite her condition, Steph was love and joy - quick to bear hug friends (and strangers) and generous with her bright, contagious smile.

She was a girl on the go, enjoying car rides, breakfast out, and watching her nephews play ball.

Sweets (especially donuts) and sodas were not safe in her presence. Savvy friends knew to protect their plates and drinks, as Aunt Stephanie enjoyed stolen treats best.

We imagine her hopes for heaven are unlimited iced mochas, daily boat rides, streaming musicals, roller coasters, and never a need to wear shoes.

Stephanie is survived by her parents Doug and Judy Hall of Leawood, sisters Allison (Jackson) Creager and Ashley (Brad) Smith and nephews Mason, Walker, Carson and Porter Phillips.

The family is grateful for the wonderful love and care she received at TNC Community, especially at the Jefferson Home, Menorah Medical Center - from the staff in the emergency room during her frequent visits and from the staff in the ICU during her final weeks.

"How did someone who supposedly know so little about anything, teach us so much about everything."

Contributions may be made in her memory to TNC Community, 12404 E. US Hwy 40, Independence, MO 64055

A Celebration of Life will be held later in the Spring.
