Mr. Stephen K. Mills

STEPHEN K MILLS, 65, of Overland Park, KS passed away October 26, 2009, suddenly at home. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m with the service at 3 p.m., Saturday, October 31, 2009, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS, followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions of any size to Smile Train (www.smiletrain.org) to help those children in need of cleft lip and cleft palete surgery. Stephen was born October 24, 1944, in Davenport IA to Kenneth Mills and Grace Neibert Mills. He recently retired from 30+ years of service with John Deere, and had moved from the Quad City area of Iowa/Illinois to the Kansas City area when his position in the Market Research Department relocated. He and wife Laura first settled in Olathe, later moving to Overland Park. Stephen is survived by wife Laura Imbach-Mills, son Adam Mills of Bettendorf IA, stepsons Arron Imbach Rice of Seattle WA and Jeffrey Ritche of Napa CA, and brother Jeff Mills of Acton CA.
