Terri was born on November 17, 1959, in Springfield to Alfred O. Smith Jr. and Nancy A. Smith. From an early age, Terri had a natural gift for connecting with people and bringing comfort and joy to those around her. She was beloved by all and truly knew no strangers. Whether through a conversation with a lifelong friend or someone she had just met, Terri had a way of making everyone feel welcome, valued, and cared for. Her warmth, laughter, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Terri attended Baker University, where she majored in Music Therapy. Her love of music and compassion for others reflected her caring nature and deep appreciation for human connection. Later in life, she continued her relationship with Baker University through her work as an Admissions Recruiter.
