Thomas L. Ringwelski (also known as Ringer or Tom) was born in Flint, Michigan on April 27th, 1956, to JoAnn & Edward Ringwelski. He passed at his home in Overland Park, Kansas on October 28th, 2025 while watching the Detroit Red Wings hockey game.
Tom was the oldest of 5 kids: Jane, John, Michael, and MaryAnne. He married Lori Sikorski May 28, 1983 in Bronson Michigan and they had 2 children, Andy and Becky.
He Graduated from Michigan Technological University in 1978 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Tom worked at Black & Veatch for 42 years and retired in 2020. He lived all over the United States and worked in over 7 different Countries including Malaysia, China, Singapore, Thailand, and Finland.
Tom had a wide variety of interests during his life. He coached swimming for many years even though he would sink like a rock. He enjoyed playing softball, tennis, frisbee, and some online games. Tom loved playing board games and card games including Pinochle, Bridge, Hearts, Spades, Backgammon, Chess, Rummikub, Cribbage, Yahtzee, Monopoly, Risk, and Tripoley. He enjoyed testing new recipes Lori made and very bravely swallowed down the interesting concoctions his children came up with. Tom enjoyed a wide variety of books and loved reading and discussing them with his family. He loved watching Michigan sports teams, especially Red Wings Hockey, Tigers Baseball, and Lions Football.
Tom is survived by Lori Ringwelski (wife), Becky & Chris Autry (daughter and son-in-law), Andy & Angela Ringwelski (son & daughter-in-law), JoAnn Ringwelski (mother), John & Becky Ringwelski (brother & sister-in-law), Michael Ringwelski (brother), Sherri & Kenny Shreves (sister-in-law). He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Predeceased family: Edward Ringwelski (father), Jane Glasco (sister), MaryAnne Taylor (sister)
Visitation: 2-4ish Monday November 3rd, 2025 with Rosary starting at 4PM at Johnson County Funeral Chapel and Memorial Gardens
