Thomas E. Slater
Thomas E. Slater 87, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 in Lenexa, Kansas. He was born to Edmund and Margaret Slater.
Thomas was a graduate from Creighton in St. Paul, Minnesota and also attended the University of Minnesota. He was a Korean War Veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Burlington Northern railroad after 40 years of service.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife; Nancy, daughter; Jane, son; David, and granddaughter Madison.
His is survived by his children; Linn, Michael, Susan, Mary, John, and Carol. 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the National Parkinson’s Foundation and the Wounded Warriors Project.
