Thomas Stribling II

Thomas Michael Stribling II, age 45, of Paola, KS passed away on September 2, 2014. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS. Funeral services will take place at 11 am on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 also at the Johnson County Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Mike was born June 25, 1969 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a lifelong sports fan, especially football, who passed his love of the game to his children. Mike’s love of the outdoors led him to start his own landscaping business. Though he experienced many accomplishments in his life, his greatest accomplishment was his 3 children.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Michael Stribling, in 1974 and his grandmother, Francis G. Stribling. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Marcia and Dennis Cones of Phoenix, AZ, and his three children; Addyson Jo, age 18, of Olathe, KS, Thomas Michael III, age 12, of Paola, KS, and Johnathan Glenn, age 6, of Paola, KS, as well as his grandmother, Anita Taylor of Overland Park, KS.
