Ursula Homburger, 84 of Overland Park, KS passed away, Monday, April 30, 2007.
She was born in Berlin, Germany, the daughter of the late Verner Sinell and Claire Orshudesh Sinell. Ursula immigrated to the U.S. in 1947. She was a seamstress for fashion designer Mme. Eta in New York City. She met and married Richard Hans Homburger in 1947 and later settled in Wichita, KS. She taught tailoring at the YWCA, was active in the WSU Dames & Sedwick Co. Historical Society. She had a passion for antiques and sold many treasures at the Wichita Coliseum Flea Market.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann Homburger and half brother, Rainer Sinell of Grasse, France. Ursula is preceded in death by her husband Richard Hans in 1989. She will be fondly remembered.
Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of her life at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 5 at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 4501 Walnut, Kansas City, MO.
