William E. Bauer 86, Overland Park, passed away Thursday February 1, 2007.
Mr. Bauer was born October 5, 1920 in Kansas City, KS. He was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps from 1942-1946. He was employed by IBM for 31 years.
His loving wife Mary Caroline (Rieder) precedes him in death. He is survived by three sisters, Florine (Al) Beebe, Dolores Gunter, and Marilyn (Tom) Saragusa, one daughter Carolyn (Anthony) Andrade, three sons Karl (Jan) Bauer, Mark Bauer and Stephen (Debby) Bauer, six grandchildren Julie Bauer, Brian (Jen) Bauer, Stephanie (John) Chanthavong, Jack (Amy) Bauer, Nick Bauer and Luke Bauer, and one great-grandson, Alexander Chanthavong.
Funeral services will be 7PM, Wednesday, February 7th at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Olathe Medical Center Hospice, 20333 West 151st Street, TDB2 Suite 301, Olathe, KS 66061.
