William (Bill) Matuska, age 72 of Olathe, Kansas passed away February 28, 2016.
Bill was born November 27, 1943 in Herington, Kansas. He was a US Marine during the Vietnam conflict. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 32 years.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Gayle, his parents and sister Margaret. Bill was a devoted husband, father and caregiver to Gayle in her last years.
Survivors include; daughter Lynnette Anderson, son Brett (Lisa)Matuska, all of Olathe. He is also survived by; sisters, Judy Picolet of KC, MO and Kathy Brandenburg of Delaware, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren as well as five nieces and three nephews.
A visitation will be held at 10AM March 3, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66210, with a graveside service to follow. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association www.heart.org or The American Lung Association www.lung.org
