Ardis LaVonne Garner

Ardis LaVonne Garner, 85, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away quietly at her home on July 16, 2020.

She was born in Sioux city, Iowa and lived in Lincoln, Nebraska until she married in 1954.  In 1963 she moved to Kansas City and started working in the accounting department of several companies until retiring in 1996.

She enjoyed making crafts.  Mostly painting and fabric painting pictures on shirts and sweatshirts.  She also loved to work on jigsaw puzzles and a few computer games.

She attended Chapel Oaks Seventh Day Adventist Church until her health prevented her from attending.

She is survived by her daughter, Roxanne (Roy) Matthews, son; Greg (Deanna) Garner, son Harry and daughters, Hanna and Helena.  Also, grandsons; Jonathan (Sarah) Shipley and sons; Bryson, Kyler and Ronin, Stephen Shipley and son, Jack and daughter, Joanna.

A private entombment will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 6600 NE Antioch RD, Gladstone, MO  64119.
