Bernice Watkins

Bernice Null Watkins, 92 of Olathe, KS passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Aberdeen Care Center.  Bernice was born on August 18, 1928 to Ed and Onie Null in Lauderdale County, Mississippi.  On August 15, 1946 she married L.J. Watkins.  Bernice was an Ordained Minister and Missionary for over 25 years.  She was preceded in death by both parents Ed & Onie Null, her husband L.J. Watkins, and 11 siblings.  She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Brewer (Ron) of Overland Park, KS, son, Ken Watkins (Jana) of Raymore, MO and son, Paul Watkins (Sheila) of Meridian, MS.  She also leaves 3 grandchildren, Jonathan Watkins, Jeremiah Watkins and Jenessa Watkins and 1 great grandchild, Wilder Watkins.  Visitation will be held at Overland Park Church of God Holiness, 6801 W. 74th Street, Overland Park, KS 66204 at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 24th followed by Funeral service at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, 13901 S. Black Bob, Olathe, KS.
