Gary L Reeve

Gary Reeve, loving husband and father, passed away at age 76 on March 3, 2020.  He was born in Watertown, South Dakota on November 19, 1943 to Don and Leone Reeve.

Gary loved woodworking, cooking, gardening, ice cream, and mostly his family.  He was always willing to lend a hand and take on any project for family and friends. He worked in the structural steel industry for over 40 years. Some of the buildings he was involved with in town include Blue Valley Northwest high school and Lenexa City Hall. He coached his daughters in softball and traveled with their teams around the country. He was a volunteer with Catholic Charities and never turned down a rootbeer float.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen, daughters Lisa Marie, Amy (Todd) Kennedy, Kari (Doug) Bellon, siblings Terry Reeve, Janice Jones, Kim Reeve, step-mother Hazel Reeve, and 7 beloved grandchildren.

His service will be held Monday, March 16th at 1:00 p.m. at Advent Lutheran Church, 11800 W 151st, Olathe, KS.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Overland Park Arboretum.
